Open Call 2026: Alberte Bager & Anne Søgaard Frandsen, Threads linking Earth and Sky,
In the exhibition “Threads linking Earth and Sky,” Spinderihallerne introduces two emerging craft artists from Design School Kolding and the Royal Danish Academy, working respectively with textile and clay.
Alberte Bager and Anne Søgaard Frandsen explore each other’s practices through works that are poetically and artistically presented as threads with, between, and towards one another. Like islands that are isolated in themselves yet also connected. Central to the exhibition is a tree of life, spanning from the dark roots of grief to the bright crown of hope.
The exhibition was created in collaboration between Spinderihallerne, textile designer Alberte Bager, and ceramic artist Anne Søgaard Frandsen.
