Spinderihallerne in Vejle is opening its exhibition space Spinderiet  to artists who may not have exhibited before – or who are looking for a platform to showcase their work.

Do you dream of exhibiting your art but find it hard to break into the art world? Do you have a smaller body of work that doesn't yet add up to a solo show? Or are you curious about how an alternative exhibition space, creative communities, and a FabLab might interact with your art?
Then this call might be for you.

Spinderihallerne is a vibrant innovation hub housing creative entrepreneurs, art studios, exhibition platforms, and a FabLab (digital prototyping lab). We support emerging creative talent – and are now making Spinderiet available to new and less-experienced artists.

This could take the shape of a solo show, a group project, or a curated group exhibition – depending on the applications we receive. The exhibition space is yours to shape, and we’re here to help you bring your vision to life by offering guidance on the curatorial and installation process, support with communication and promotion, a professional setup and opportunities for networking and collaboration.

REQUIREMENTS

No experience necessary – but we expect you to be serious and ambitious about your art, and able to participate in installation, the opening, and any related activities.
