FabLab in Educational Settings
Technological development is advancing rapidly, and as both established and emerging technologies play an increasingly important role in our everyday lives, new demands are placed on the technological literacy of future citizens. FabLab creates the framework for a technological learning community where students can learn design thinking and strengthen their technological understanding in an engaging environment.
If you wish to use the FabLab in teaching, it is possible to rent facilities at Spinderihallerne. We also make our expertise available to teachers, school leadership, and consultants, in collaboration with the Department of Education and Learning as well as our school and business partners.
Since 2009, we have specialised in developing methods that meaningfully, didactically, and engagingly involve children and young people in design processes, and in 2013 we helped establish the FabLab@School community.
